The Advance Cargo Declaration (ACD) — also commonly referred to as CTN, ECTN, BSC or BESC — is a mandatory pre-loading cargo declaration for applicable containerized shipments destined for Kenya. It provides advance information about the cargo, vessel, shipper/exporter and supporting shipment documents before the goods are loaded for Kenya.
Prepare the following to apply. All submitted documents must be clear and readable, and ACD drafts should include container details and HS Codes.
1. Draft Bill of Lading
2. Commercial Invoice
3. Freight Invoice, and
4. Export Declaration.
